Eric Birkhimer

Eric has more than 15 years of experience in the substance use disorder and mental health field. He began his career as an entry-level admissions coordinator with no previous industry experience. Through hard work, a willingness to learn, and the guidance of exceptional mentors, he advanced into leadership positions that included Executive Director of Admissions and Vice President of Business Development.

Eric’s commitment to helping others is also deeply personal. He has been in long-term recovery since 2010, as has his wife, Brittany. Together, they have built a life grounded in recovery, family, and service to others. Brittany has worked tirelessly to become a nurse practitioner while raising their two children, demonstrating remarkable dedication to both her career and family. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children who have never seen either of their parents take a drink or use a substance.

His professional journey and lived experience have given Eric a genuine understanding of addiction, mental health challenges, and the transformational power of recovery. He remains passionate about creating opportunities for people to receive compassionate care, rebuild their lives, and discover that lasting recovery is possible.
